Trading Places...

These TriMet MAX trains had just arrived at the new south layover yard at SW 5th Avenue and Jackson Street in Portland, and were actually trading destinations.

The train on the left had arrived as a test train off the new Green Line from Clackamas Town Center; the train of new 400-series cars on the right had come in as a Yellow Line run from the Portland Expo Center.

The train of 400-series cars left a few minutes later as a Green LIne test train running as far as the Rose Quarter Transit Center, where it continued east to return to the Ruby Junction yard.

The set of 200-series cars left as the next northbound Yellow Line run.
