These are the Motorman controls that control movement of the car. The large handle on the left is the controller handle, the metal lever to the direct right of that is the key which governs forward/reverse, the chain in the center of the photo is the whistle, the small dial to the left of the whistle is the windshield wiper control, and the large lever on the right of the photo is the brakes to stop the car as well as door control. The doors are air operated on this car.
Car 2600, built in 1929 for use in Montreal on Montreal Tramways was operated there until 1959. After that, the Connecticut Trolley Museum recieved the car and is seen here during a training run. Imagine the thousands and thousands of people that rode this car in Montreal, and at the Connecticut Trolley Museum. She certainly is an excellent workhorse to the museum's fleet of trolleys!
