Car 33 at Derby Castle

The Douglas terminus of the Manx Electric Railway.
Built in 1893, this 17 mile long railway runs on 550 volts DC, on 3ft gauge track.
This railway really does go up hill and down dale, often, very steep, twisty inclines...

Photographed by Adrian Brodie, July 26, 2010.
Added to the photo archive by Adrian Brodie, August 4, 2010.
Railroad: Manx Electric Railway (Isle of Man - UK).
