Lake Shore Electric - Cincinnati Street Railway 2227

Of only a handful of Cincinnati streetcars preserved, this is the only one fully restored. Built by Cincinnati Car Company in 1920, this attractive deck-roof car was equipped - like all Cincinnati city cars - with dual trolley poles to prevent the return current from being transmitted through the running rails. Photo by Jim Vaitkunas, posted with permission.

Photographed by Jim Vaitkunas, 2007.
Added to the photo archive by Frank Hicks, June 4, 2009.
