Northbound RiverLINE car approaching Bordentown Station

DLRV on the approach to the Bordentown station. This route
had been a Pennsylvania Railroad line between Trenton. Camden and Atlantic City. At one time the famous "Nelly Blye" express train from New York to Atlantic City ran here.
Conrail still operates quite a lot of freight on this line.
A short distance behind the car is the junction with the old Camden & Amboy
railroad line, built in the 1830s.

The RiverLINE has become quite successful in aiding development in the area.
The line operates over the old C&A line for most of its distance.
