Watertown Carbarn

This was the carbarn for the MBTA's A-Line trolleys until 1969. Now, I guess, it is used for bus repair or storage. Note tracks to nowhere coming out the doors. That's the last of the A-Line. Bye bye. Businesses in Brighton Center didn't want the line restored because it would hinder double parking in front of their exciting stores. Speedsters wanted to have old tracks removed, after about 25 years, because their tires got caught in the grooves, and when one is doing 50 on a city street that isn't good.
