Underneath the West End.A view of a Number 3 1951 East Boston Tunnel Car set making the turn at the Bowdoin loop to head outbound. The car has just left the loop at the turnout which connects the line with storage tracks. One of the sharpest radius curves in any known subway system, the cars benefit by the fact that they were built small to fit into the tunnel previously used by trolleys.
