Construction crews are moving right along in this view of the construction of the third cable car turntable at Powell at Market. In ten years, another would be installed in the system-wide rebuild. The original turntable here was built in 1888 by the Ferries and Cliff House Railway. This turntable remains the most heavily used in SF as both Powell Street lines originate here, collecting hoards of tourists.
