A previous path.PCC Pullman-Standard 3304 unloading at Longwood Station on the Riverside Line heading inbound. The line opened in 1959, and follows the previous Boston and Albany (NYC) Railroad's ROW, and in fact, uses some of the original B&A stations. These stations have platform access only, and in fact, have been converted inside to other uses. This line was the last trolley line constructed in metropolitan Boston. 3304, a Picture-Window model, was one of the last orders for PCC trolleys, superseded only by an order built by the St. Louis Car Company for San Francisco's Muni. The car has since been scrapped, but others in the group have been saved.
