Piney Ridge Siding

This is the location of the former Piney Ridge Turnout of the Hartford & Springfield Street Railway's Rockville Branch line. The track ran east-west. Just north of the track was the Piney Ridge Park which had ballfields, dance halls, and pavilions. Trolleys last ran here in 1926. Now 80 years later, the Connecticut Trolley Museum hopes to reach this point by the end of the year.
