Wakefield, The First Stop In The Bronx

Train 9526 from North White Plains to GCT arrives at Wakefield in The Bronx. Wakefield is the first station within New York City Limits that Metro-North trains coming down the Harlem Line reach. The platforms are very short. Only the first two cars of this train will open their doors. The temporary wooden platforms seen here are in place so the original platforms can be extended.
