STM

This is the stm location of the Well Switch. This is used to access the yards at stm(behind me), it is also much preferred over the double slip switch(behind me)by car crews for the simplicity when doing yard moves. It used to be used as a spring swtich but is not considerd one anymore due to wear of dampening components, thus leaveing only two active spring switches used on the main line. I am standing on the main, to the right is the track to the yards.
