A look at a wheel on NOPS 836 @ Connecticut Trolley Museum

Here is a look at a wheel on 1922 built NOPS Car 836. Car 836 ran on the Canal Street in New Orleans until the early 1960's at which time the museum acquired the car. Restored by CERA museum volunteers, the car carries passengers 82 years after it was built. An interesting note is that Car 836 was built by the Perley Thomas car company which is still in business today manufacturing school busses under the "Thomas" name.
