Interior of the Controller on Car 4 at the Connecticut Trolley Museum

This is an interior shot of a basic "K" type controller of a streetcar. This controller happens to be on Montreal Observation Car 4. This is where the movement of the motorman's arm interacts with the electricity. As the motorman moves the controller, more electricity is allowed to flow through the motors.
