Metro-North Train #644 Leaving White Plains Station - 10:01 A.M.

Metro-North Train #644 originated at Southeast, 53 miles north of Grand Central Terminal. The station was for many years known simply as Brewster North. The Harlem Line's third rail ends at Southeast, but the line continues north another 29 miles on a pastoral route via a single track across the countryside to the small community of Wassaic, New York. This train will run nonstop now from White Plains to 125th Street/Harlem in New York City, where, after a brief stop, it will continue down the Park Avenue viaduct and tunnels to Grand Central Terminal on East 42nd Street in Midtown Manhattan. This service is provided hourly every day of the week, except for the last two runs of the day, which stop at all but a few minor stations on the line.
