Heading Home...

TriMet MAX car #117 heads around the east leg of the wye leading into the agency's Ruby Junction complex in Gresham, Ore., as it heads home after a long day of operations on the Gresham-Hillsboro Blue Line.

This is TriMet's original yard and shop area, dating back to the first Portland-area light rail operations in the 1980s. It performs the heavy maintenance on the agency's light rail fleet, and is the home depot for cars used on the Blue, Yellow and Green lines.

Ruby Junction is also the site of the agency's Operations Center, which serves as the central dispatching and traffic control for the light rail system.
