Hartford, Manchester & Rockville Tramway Co.

Built around the 1900's...This 10 bench, single truck, open car is seen at one of its stops on its way to South Manchester, CT. The location of the photo is unknown. The car ran its life on the Hartford, Manchester & Rockville Tramway Co. as car 18. This car has long since been scrapped many years ago.

A similar car from the Five Mile Beach Electric Railway can be seen at the museum in East Windsor, CT.

This is from the historical collection of the Connecticut Trolley Museum. Attempts are currently being made for more photos like this to be publicly viewable.
