NOPS Car 966 takes a visit to East Windsor, CT

While visiting the Connecticut Trolley Museum on a summer day this past summer, I noticed a ding ding in the distance. When I turned around, New Orleans Car 966 was rounding track 2. Well....not really! The Connecticut Trolley Museum owns a New Orleans car very similar to 966. CERA has car 836 which is the true identity of the car in the photo.

I was bored and fooling around with paint so I fooled around with the number to see how it would come out. The real 966 is actually owned by the Seashore Trolley Museum in Maine. Currently the car is on loan to the Lowell Historic Park.
