El Paso City Lines 1508, a 1937 PCC car built by St. Louis Car Company for San Diego Electric Railway as that company's car 514, is currently stored at the El Paso Airport in a state of slow decay. The arid climate has largely preserved the car's structure, though, and there have been proposals to rehab this car and several other identical ones for heritage streetcar service in El Paso.
