Canadian Railway Museum - Ottawa 423 Ottawa Transportation Company 423 has an interesting history. Built in 1906 as one of three Royal Mail post office cars for Ottawa, it was rebuilt in 1912 as a sand car and operated for nearly fifty years in that capacity. It is now at the Canadian Railway Museum in Delson-Saint Constant, Québec. Photo by Len Thiebault, posted with permission. Photographed by Len Thiebault, 2010.
