Mattapan shuttle

The MBTA's Mattapan-Ashmont trolley line operates over a former New Haven RR branchline that was converted to streetcar operation in 1929. In a setting that looks very suburban, ex-Dallas doubled ended PCC 3330 crosses Capen Street in Milton on its way to the subway connection at Ashmont.

Photographed by Tom Nelligan, July, 1971.
Added to the photo archive by Tom Nelligan, November 14, 2018.
