Picture Window PCCs

MBTA "Picture Window" PCCs 3272-3321, built in 1950, were the MBTA's newest and also the last PCCs built by longtime source Pullman Standard. A pair of them stopped at the always busy Park Street Station en route from Riverside to Lechmere. PCCs are gone from the subway now, and so are cigarette ads like the one in this photo.

Wow - neat picture! The Lark cigarette ad is provocative with its promotion of the "Gas Mask"! as a gas trap filter?!?! And I've not heard of the Paris Cinema, apparently a first run art movie house on Boylston St that closed in 1993. And, then there's three PCC cars... Excellent capture!
