This is a "before" view of the operator's position on Muni 1008, taken in February 2010 just before it left to be rebuilt and restored by Brookville. Built in 1948, this car had been converted to single-end configuration and then later turned into a work car. It returned to San Francisco in July 2012 completely restored to its appearance as built.
