San Francisco Municipal Railway 1008

SFMR 1008's interior is seen in August 2012, soon after returning from Brookville for a 2+ year rebuild. Built in 1948 as a double-ended PCC, 1008 was later rebuilt as a single-ender and later yet rebuilt as a work car. It has been completely restored to its as-built appearance. Photo by Karl Johnson, posted with permission.
