Maybe the mark of one of the best built MBTA cars evvah !!

The builders plate from the current lineup of Orange Line cars. The gang north of the border knew their stuff when they built these cars in the late 1970's. This current line up of "Orange Blossoms" has to make it another 5 to 10 years according to press reports. These extremely durable rigs never saw a mid-life rebuild, and have been rolling since new. Considering the miles on the 01200 series with over a million easy, and the daily pounding of stops, starts, and many riders, it is safe to say that these cars have aged quite well.
