Interurban sleeping car

One of only two preserved interurban sleeping cars (the other from the Illinois Terminal), this car was built as Interstate Public Service [of Indiana] 167 "Scottsburg" and later ran on the Indiana Railroad before being sold to Pacific Great Eastern in 1937. PGE renamed it "Clinton" and hauled it in passenger trains; the car is now preserved in Squamish, BC in largely original condition. Photo by John Smatlak, posted with permission.
