Former Philadelphia Transit Company (PTC)/SEPTA PCC #2131 is in its "life after transit" as an ice cream parlor in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, Pa.

Germantown Avenue, which runs by the car's location, includes the now-dormant Route 23 streetcar line, which ran from Chestnut Hill to downtown Philadelphia.

SEPTA, the Philadelphia-area transit agency, has retained the trackage and overhead wire for possible future service restoration. The agency has preserved a sister car on display at its headquarters in downtown Philadelphia.
