Connecticut Railway and Lighting Company in Ansonia, CT

A blast from the past shows Connecticut Railway and Lighting Company 2366 with Wakelee Avenue on the destination sign. This rather unique Birney car has an ad on the front of the car for the Capital Theater, possibly for a popular movie of the time. Also, in the background is a look at a rather unique style signal used by streetcar companies in CT. The year is unknown but is probably sometime during the 1900's.

This is from the historical collection of the Connecticut Trolley Museum. Attempts are currently being made for more photos like this to be publicly viewable.
