Rail buffs, cameras in hand, examining the Canadian Light Rail Vehicle demonstrator at the Watertown Yards. The CLRV was loaned to the MBTA by the TTC, and had been evaluated previously in revenue service on the Arborway Line three months before this photo. The MBTA eventually went with an order of 120 Kinki-Sharyo Type 7 cars beginning six years later. The Watertown Line is now long extinct.
