Splendid Picture-Window.

Looking like a million bucks in its fresh coat of tangerine-creme-silver-maroon paint, 3295 poses at Riverside after its reconditioning. The Picture-Window PCC's, the second-last production order of PCC's in 1951, were at one time reserved exclusively for 1959's newly opened Riverside Line so as to showcase the route.

Photographed by Paul Joyce, 1981.
Added to the photo archive by Paul Joyce, June 27, 2006.
Railroad: MBTA.
