Lost in time.

A veteran New Yorker stands in the doorway of a 1927-era BMT D-Type Triplex, at Broad Street Station in Lower Manhattan. The articulated unit is part of the NYCTA's historic collection, and is being used in a NYCTA-March of Dimes fan trip. The Triplex is waiting for clearance on this non-revenue trip while other more modern cars are available. Our friend, not on the trip, seems lost in memory of an earlier time which he has connected with on this day.
