Waiting For the Bell.

An inbound train waits for the bell at Forest Hills Station. The bell was a fixture for millions of Boston commuters over the years. In the photo, we see that the station's passenger limits have been constricted by a wall erected following the days of elimination of six car trains.

Photographed by Paul Joyce, January, 1987.
Added to the photo archive by Paul Joyce, May 31, 2006.
Railroad: MBTA.
