Entering Forest Hills.

An Orange Line train enters the former Forest Hills Station outbound, to deposit its passengers who will exit to the lower level. They will then board T busses for the final leg home. Forest Hills Station was the major contributor of the build-up of such "streetcar suburbs" as Roslindale, West Roxbury, Hyde Park, and Dedham in the early 20th century.

Photographed by Paul Joyce, January, 1987.
Added to the photo archive by Paul Joyce, May 24, 2006.
Railroad: MBTA.
