Forest Hills Elevated.

A train of Pullman-Standard Boston Orange Line cars enters the old Forest Hills Terminal heading inbound at its point of origination. It has just changed ends and is now heading towards downtown Boston. It will go through Jamaica Plain, Roxbury, the South End, Downtown, Charlestown, into Everett. The Elevated ("El") was a Boston fixture for many years. It no longer exists.

Photographed by Paul Joyce, February, 1977.
