New Orleans Public Service 836

New Orleans Public Service 836 is a typical steel streetcar built by Perley-Thomas in 1923; over 70 similar cars are still in service in New Orleans. The end of the car nearest the camera was completely rebuilt by Connecticut Trolley Museum volunteers over the past several years.
