Excelsior Streetcar Line

The oldest streetcar in regular operation in the United States is this car, Duluth Street Railway #78. It was built by Laclede in 1893 and was taken out of service in 1911; the body was acquired by the Minnesota Transportation Museum in 1971 and fully restored. It now operates in Excelsior, MN on MTM's Excelsior Streetcar Line.
