Orange 3263

I had no clue if the 3263 was in service or not, but I'm told the bright orange color was the original color of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority's PCC cars. "PCCs" were streetcars originally designed under the direction of the Electric Railway Presidents' Conference Committee. Some 25 U.S. and Canadian transit companies developed a standardized streetcar whose many improvements would help to reverse the decline in transit use that had begun in the 1920s. The search began in 1929, and the first cars were in service in New York City in October 1936. Source: Snapcity.com.
