Photo of Boston Subway
Boston Subway

A photo my brother took long ago on a visit back to Boston, obviously on the Red Line. I believe this is Washington Street Station, facing south? Can anyone confirm the location or help me narrow down the timeframe?

I believe you are correct about this Red Line station's identity although after 1967, Washington St station was renamed "Downtown Crossing". Here's a more contemporary view of the same scene, facing south on the northbound line: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/9c/Red_Line_northbound_platform_at_DTX.JPG
