Maryland Mass Transit's Baltimore light rail operation is another good example of effective intermodal connections. Car #5017, bound for the Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI), is shown making a stop at Camden Station, the northern terminus of Maryland Rail Commuter (MARC) trains on the former B&O line to Washington, D.C.

On the north side of Baltimore's central business district, light rail trains also operate into Penn Station, connecting with Amtrak and MARC. Inside the CBD, the line also connects with a heavy metro rail line to the city's northwest suburbs.

The Bromo Seltzer Tower, a Baltimore landmark, is seen behind the tower on the Camden Station headhouse; to the left of the tracks, Orioles Park at Camden Yards, the home of the Baltimore Orioles baseball team, occupies an old B&O rail yard site; the large building that is the east side of the stadium is an old B&O freighthouse.

The light rail line also serves M&T Bank Park, the Baltimore Ravens football stadium just to the south of Camden Yards. The B&O Railroad Museum is on Pratt Street, a short distance to the northwest.
