Photo of Dudley Station.
Dudley Station.

An Orange Line car inbound sits at Dudley Station prior to heading out towards Northampton Station. Dudley Station was originally the southern end of the Main Line prior to the extension to Forest Hills on November 22, 1909. It was host to rapid transit cars, trolleys, trackless trolleys, and busses. Note the '50's Eisenhower ad above - it was a period movie prop (" The Brinks Job"), left in place after filming ended!

Photographed by Paul Joyce, January, 1987.
Added to the photo archive by Paul Joyce, May 24, 2006.
Railroad: MBTA.
