Safe passage.

A pair of New Haven FL-9s could do a terrific job of getting a student from Route 128 Station to Bridgeport Station. The final mile or two in the journey to the U of B campus, entailed a heavy suitcase and some seriously "inner city" real estate. To the rescue were the stalwart GM coaches of Connecticut Railway and Lighting Company.
