Springfield Terminal 16 - Connecticut Trolley Museum

This attractive lightweight combine is Springfield Terminal 16, a suburban car built by Wason in 1926. It was used in passenger service until 1946 before being stored for eight years. In 1954 it was adapted for use as a line car but only worked in that capacity for two years until it was acquired by CTM. It's interesting to compare this car with car 10 from the same line, built a quarter-century earlier. Car 16 is operational.
