St. Louis Public Service 215-II

The second St. Louis rail grinder numbered 215 is this car, which replaced an earlier 1892 rebuilt streetcar. This second 215 was built in the SLPS shops in 1946 and utilized the grinding mechanism from the older 215. It ran until the end of St. Louis streetcar service in 1966, when it was acquired by the Museum of Transportation.
