Manufacturers Railroad 1 This diminutive steeplecab is part of the collection of the Museum of Transportation near St. Louis. It is the first electric locomotive ever built by General Electric, in 1893; it was rebuilt in 1901 and worked for the Manufacturers Railroad in Connecticut until 1948.
