Pittsburgh Railways 4398

Pittsburgh Railways 4398 is a double-end Jones low-floor car built by St. Louis in 1917. It remained in service until 1956, when it was acquired by the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum. PTM has just completed a major rebuilding project, reconstructing the car from the frame up and restoring it to its in-service appearance. Photo courtesy Pennsylvania Trolley Museum, posted with permission.

Photographed by Scott Becker, 2008.
Added to the photo archive by Frank Hicks, July 1, 2008.
