Illinois Railway Museum - Inside a North Shore car

The motorman's position of Chicago North Shore & Milwaukee interurban car 763, built in 1930 by Standard Steel and currently being restored by the Illinois Railway Museum. To the left is the Westinghouse type 28A3 master controller (minus handle), to the right the WABCO M23 brake stand. This car is being restored as a "Silverliner."
