Three generations of TTC Trolleys in the late '80sToronto Transit Commission began streetcar service in the 1920's with a good sized fleet of Peter Witt cars, many of which operated into the '60s. During the late '30s into the '40s, TTC acquired an even larger fleet of PCC cars that survived into the early '90s. The CLRVs arrived in 1977 and remain in use today. And there are 2 more subsequent generations of TTC cars in use not shown here: the Articulated LRVs that arrived in the late '80s and the Flexity articulateds delivered within the past few years.
